Hannah Yakobi is an award-winning journalist and communications specialist.

She has worked extensively as a health, fashion, arts, business and culture reporter and editor, a photojournalist and a communications expert for almost a decade.

Hannah is a highest honours' graduate of the Bachelor of Journalism program at Carleton University (School of Journalism and Communication), with a specialization in public relations, arts and print journalism, and minors in psychology and film studies.

She has IT certification from the University of Cambridge and an International Baccalaureate diploma (specializing in biochemistry and psychology).Hannah Yakobi

She has also recently won an Education Foundation Award for her research paper, which focused on multimedia convergence and the future of journalism.

Hannah has travelled extensively throughout Europe and North America and speaks four languages (English, French, Spanish and Russian).

She has strong personal interests in the issues of health, online multimedia, haute couture fashion, international development, culture, languages and diplomacy.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys raising money for various Canadian and international charities, tutoring high school/university students and silk painting.
